Student Council Announcements

Feb.17th dress down

There will be a board-wide dress down and hat day on Feb.17th to raise money to fund the salaries of 2 teachers in a school in the Dominican Republic.

Welcome Back!

We hope all students, staff, and parents enjoyed a blessed Christmas Break. We wish to extend a very Happy New Year to all of you and wish you the best for 2012. We want to thank all those who performed in the 2011 Christmas Talent Show. We feel that it was one of the best if not, thee best Talent Show productions in our histroy. We thank all those on staff and on Student Council who helped plan and stage direct this event. We wish all students good luck on upcoming culminating tasks and final exams. We look forward to having our AGM later this month to plan the second half of the year and bring you more memorable events.

Movemember & Talent Show Update

-Student Council thanks all those who participated in the November Walk Off this past Friday. A reminder to vote for your favorite Movember, SENS tickets up for grabs.

-Christmas Talent Show auditions sign up this week, auditions next week. Talent Show Dec.23 (7-8 in the AM and high school in the afternoon).

Third Hand Clothing

The students at St. Luke's Catholic High School in Smiths Falls lead many social justice initiatives, including Third Hand Clothing which has now become a board-wide initiative for 2011-12 but we will be showcasing some of their t-shirts and selling them and giving some away as prizes (check it out on Facebook) or website: http://www.thirdhandclothing.webs.com or http://www.thirdhandclothing.webs.com
